Besides having the opportunity to catch world class pacific halibut, salmon and rock fish while onboard the M/V Wish Maker, you will also be able to witness some of Alaska's beauty, from glaciers to whales to spectacular sunsets. You should keep in mind that during the peak season Alaska averages 20 hrs of daylight. It is one of the few places on earth you can witness the sunset and at the same time see it rise. The opposite is true in the winter when, during the winter solstice, Alaska only averages 4 hrs of day light.
